I'm married, 51 year old, and the proud father of a 14 year old (environmental activist) daughter. She's far more knowledgeable than me, but I do my best ha ha!

I live in North Shields. I'm a volunteer Seal Warden with St. Mary's Seal Watch (Whitley Bay) and keen supporter of Dolphin Project, Animals Asia, North East Hunt Monitors, Hunt Saboteurs, League Against Cruel Sports, Surfers Against Sewage and Sea Shepherd.

I enjoy Heavy Metal music, very amateur photography (wildlife photos taken with a telephoto lens to prevent disturbance), non-league football (North Shields FC) and, having been born in Solihull, I support Birmingham City.

I love the sea, beach cleans and my favourite day out is a trip on one of Billy Shiels' boats.

I'm very much looking forward to getting more involved with Newbiggin Dolphin Watch Association.
